Through bespoke wellbeing & personal styling services, Freyia Lilian creates space to reflect on how we experience, understand, and express ourselves through our bodies.
At the heart of Freyia Lilian’s work is a fascination with the body as a site of lived information, where inner experience forms into self understanding and outward expression.
Working at the intersection of wellbeing and personal styling, she supports clients to explore their body image and relationship to food. While some clients seek support through wellbeing work and others through personal styling, these areas often overlap. Finding the right outfit for an event can open up conversations about body image, sensory preference, and non verbal communication. Seeking to understand the relationship with food can reveal deeper questions of identity, belonging, pleasure, and self trust.
Her wellbeing work is informed by training in Intuitive Eating Counselling, applied Polyvagal Theory, and Trauma Informed Community Yoga. She is supervised by Intuitive Eating cofounder—Elyse Resch, whose work and mentorship profoundly influence her approach.
Alongside this, Freyia holds a degree from Manchester School of Art. Her distinctive approach to personal styling is informed by both her ongoing creative practice and her embodied wellbeing training and interests. This approach considers clothing and personal appearance as practical necessity, non verbal communication, creative expression, and embodied experience. She is particularly interested in how gender—especially femininity—is defined, imagined, and expressed across time and place.
Those who work with Freyia can expect an approach rich in metaphor, soft candour, a touch of whimsy, ventures into the dressing up box, and a healthy dose of nerdery.
Based in Brighton, UK, she works locally and internationally, both online and in person.
